7. Pizza Party!

Professional wrestling companies used to try and sell me on big matches during their show. Now they try and sell me crappy pizza! Maybe I just dont understand the way the business works anymore. Perhaps former WCW president Jim Herd was simply ahead of his time by making the transition from pizza chain owner to head of a wrestling company.

Anyway, on Raw, we saw Dolph Ziggler wanting to play video games with his annoying friends, so he ordered a pizza. Xavier Woods smelled bacon. Dolph corrected him Its actually apple wood smoked bacon. Then a wacky 80s commercial broke out, where, get this, the kicker was Dolph didnt get any pizza despite buying the pizza!

Every person in the sketch mugged for the camera as if they were channeling their inner HHH and HBK during the reformed DX era. I think the lesson learned here is if youre going to put Sasha Banks on Raw, find something better for her to do than be in the background of an extended Pizza Hut commercial.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW.
