WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 17)

5. The Dull House

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jzs5mJ6Z80 The initial vignettes of The Dollhouse were pretty cool. Their initial music was pretty cool too, that is until it changed (quite coincidentally) to a song from Billy Corgan€™s ex-girlfriend. And when has there ever been music credits like that for a TNA song? Anyway, when the group debuted, we were lead to believe they were some seriously messed up psychopaths. Well, psychos no longer, they€™re just evil high school-like henchwomen for Taryn Terrell. They're also not that good at wrestling, as Gail Kim was able to beat up the whole stable by herself. This week it felt like Vince Russo had returned to writing the Knockouts division as Terrell was reduced to standing in the ring for quite awhile in nothing but lingerie. Don't get me wrong, beautiful women in their underwear has its place on television, and in our world. But these women are still supposed to be portraying professional fighters, not eye candy. And also, a TV show with lingerie and Mike Tenay is simply a bad mix.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
