WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Nov 8)

4. No End In Sight

You know what? I like tournaments in wrestling. When WWE actually gives a damn about King of the Ring, it€™s usually a good time. What€™s not a lot of fun is when we have absolutely no idea when a tournament is going to end. This was the fifth week of TNA€™s Heavyweight Title tournament, and it€™s getting old. There€™s no giant bracket showing all of the competitors and what place they€™re in. We€™re getting peeks at the eight (eight!) groups, and numbers on who is placed where within their individual group. When will those winners face up? Who knows! It would be one thing if Josh Matthews could say €œThe end of the tournament is on X date.€ That way there€™d be some drama building every week. But this thing keeps going. It just doesn€™t stop! And there€™s nothing outside of the tournament! When WWE has tournaments, there€™s still other storylines going on, not in TNA. If you€™re not invested in this, you€™re completely out of luck. They can€™t find anything else to do during those two hours?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
