WWE Attitude Era Star HATED This Infamous Move

Although, Jerry Lawler clearly didn't.

Former WWE/F talent Terri Runnels has taken to Twitter to reveal that she hated performing her 'broncobuster' when she was signed to the company.

During her run, Runnels worked closely with Dustin Runnels (her husband for a time) in his Goldust guise and later formed the Pretty Mean Sisters team with Jacqueline Moore. She was also involved in one particularly infamous exchange with Jerry Lawler in a WWF ring, which involved her giving 'The King' a 'broncobuster' in the corner of the ring.

Now, Runnels has confirmed on Twitter that she never enjoyed performing the move.

Replying to @attitude_rewind's post on Twitter highlighting how Lawler 'seemed pleased' to take the move, Runnels said that she 'HATED DOING THOSE!'.

It's no surprise that the star didn't feel comfortable performing the move, given the fact that she was tasked with wearing next to nothing when delivering the 'broncobuster' to Lawler.

Unfortunately, this is just another reminder of what sort of situations women working under WWE were put in on a weekly basis not too long ago.

Thankfully the company has moved on significantly since then and women wrestlers now aren't made to perform suggestive moves on ageing controversial colour commentators.
