1. Steve Austin Retains The WWE Title Against The Rock
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6d6DER0Vlg Any time "Stone Cold" Steve Austin wrestled The Rock the match was usually really good. Their matches in 1997 weren't the best, but you could see the chemistry. When they had their WrestleMania 15 main event in 1999 it was solid although they definitely surpassed it with this match. It was a No Holds Barred match with the evil Shane McMahon in place as the guest referee. Austin couldn't touch him or he'd lose the WWE Title. Most people didn't think Rock could win because it was a return match from WrestleMania, but they still found a way to make it very entertaining. A big reason why it was better than WrestleMania is because they brawled all over the arena due to the No Holds Barred stipulation. Rock even grabbed the camera at one point and added in some commentary too because he did those kinds of entertaining things. It was hilarious as Austin got back to his feet, gave him the double middle finger and hit a Stunner on the table. The match went 18 minutes even though Shane was helping Rock towards the end of the match. He didn't count three after he accidentally hit Rock with the WWE Title, so his dad Vince came out with ref Earl Hebner and nailed Shane with the Smokin' Skull title that Austin used to carry around. Austin ended up winning with the Stunner and title shot, which led to Vince giving him his title back. This was the last major match that The Rock worked as a heel for a long time. He went babyface soon after this. It was clearly the right move.
