Apologies to any Lyra Valkyria fans reading this, but the Women's Intercontinental belt will mean way more on ‘Big Time Becks’ than it does on her relatively newer compatriot. It might seem a tad too early to move the title on, but Lynch leading the way against a string of challengers sounds like the best plan. Besides, Valkyria will be absolutely fine if she’s competitive.

Being brutally honest, the bigger story here is between Becky and Bayley anyway. Lynch attacked Bayley and replaced her at WrestleMania 41 (in effect stealing a huge payoff for somebody who would've regarded her as a friend), and that cannot go unpunished for the rest of the year; Bayley's vengeance is coming despite recent reports on her contract running out in 2026, and it's going to be a lot of fun.

The huggable babyface needs the same harder edge she received when trading side ponytails for brutality in 2019, and she has done for a while. Fleeing Damage CTRL and beating IYO SKY for the Women's Title back at 'Mania 40 didn't really pay off as well as WWE or Bayley would've hoped. If anything, her resultant title reign was a bit of a flop.

Two legacy stars of the women's division going at it hammer and tongs for the newer IC Title sounds like the way to do. Lyra can fit into the story somewhere and continue building her own stock, but...yeah, Becky is a lock for the title unless Triple H fancies booking Bayley to cost Lynch instead.

That's definitely on the table as another viable option, but this writer would rather see a title change to give the IC belt a much-needed jolt.
