WWE Black Wednesday Releases 5 Years Later - Where Are They Now?

16. Serena Deeb

Savvy veteran Serena Deeb looked to have a job for life when she signed on to become a coach at WWE's Performance Center in 2018. Sadly, mass cutbacks meant she was released just a few years later. In typically resourceful fashion, Deeb didn't let that second WWE snub hold her down. She inked a deal with AEW in September 2020 after being let go by Vince McMahon in April.

Serena has largely been glorified enhancement talent in All Elite circles ever since, but she's a handy worker to have around. She's certainly come in useful when mentoring younger stars like Queen Aminata and working with more established names such as Thunder Rosa or Hikaru Shida.
