There were some surprised glances amongst fans when WWE released promising female star Deonna Purrazzo back in 2020. She seemed to have the world at her feet, but somebody felt different enough to cancel her contract. Purrazzo went on to enjoy huge success in IMPACT Wrestling before the promotion changed back to TNA, then landed on AEW's lap in January 2024.

Sadly, Tony Khan hasn't exactly made the most of Deonna's skills thus far. There have been some highs, but Purrazzo is one of many who got lost in the shuffle on an overstuffed AEW roster heading into 2025. There's time yet for things to turn in her favour.
