With her expected to make her WWE in-ring debut at NXT Heatwave in July, Giulia has unfortunately suffered a wrist injury.f

This injury occurred yesterday at the inaugural show for Rossy Ogawa's new Marigold promotion, where the main event saw Sareee and Bozilla defeat Giulia and Utami Hayashishita.

Marigold took to X to announce Giulia's injury, posting the following statement.

"Giulia’s right wrist was injured in yesterday's inaugural match. Today, her doctor examined her and diagnosed her with a fracture. Unfortunately she will miss the Hana Kimura show on the 23rd, and upcoming shows for the time being. We apologize and thank you for understanding."

Following yesterday's tag match, Giulia challenged Sareee to a singles match - a challenge which was accepted - at Marigold's 13 July event at Sumo Hall.

As alluded to, it's believed Giulia will have her first WWE match at NXT Heatwave on 7 July, with reports also claiming that this contest will involve either the NXT Women's Championship or the NXT North American Women's Championship.

Following months of speculation, Giulia was shown on camera - sat alongside William Regal and Rossy Ogawa, no less - at NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania XL Weekend and was in attendance for 'Mania itself. While the former STARDOM standout is indeed joining WWE, she's doing so on the understanding that she would first help Ogawa launch Marigold before she fully commits to being a full-time member of the NXT roster.

From all of us at WhatCulture Wrestling, he's hoping for a speedy recovery for Giulia.
