One of the biggest premium live events on WWE's annual calendar is coming to the United Kingdom in 2023.

The Daily Mail's Alex McCarthy reports that Money In The Bank 2023 will be held at The O2 in London, England on Saturday, 1 July. This will be the first time an MITB show has taken place outside the United States since becoming its own dedicated event in 2010.

McCarthy writes that the success of 2022's Clash At The Castle PLE may have driven the promotion to move MITB to the UK this year. Held last September, Clash was WWE's first major stadium show in the UK since SummerSlam 1992. Now, Money In The Bank 2023 looks set to go down as another landmark, becoming WWE's first PLE to be held in England since Insurrextion 2003.

Amongst Clash At The Castle's many successes was an announced attendance of 62,296 on the night. The show was held at Cardiff, Wales' gargantuan Principality Stadium.
