WWE: Brock Lesnar's 10 Best Moments

6. Defeating CM Punk (SummerSlam 2013)

When CM Punk ended his tenure as a "Paul Heyman guy", it was obvious all roads led to a showdown with Lesnar. Punk had broken away from his longtime associate and returned to the good graces of the fans, prompting Heyman to unleash his beast on his former friend. SummerSlam was one of 2013's most entertaining pay-per-views, featuring Daniel Bryan's win over John Cena for the WWE championship in addition to the Punk/Lesnar battle. The formula for this one was simple yet effective. Brock would utilize his tremendous size and strength advantage to batter Punk, with the straight edge superstar fighting valiantly to overcome the monster. Heyman played a pivotal role in the match, and Punk's obsession with getting to him contributed to his defeat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWBg2UNdkdQ The match was another classic and one of the top bouts of 2013. For a man who had been away from a pro ring for nearly a decade, he had already resumed being considered one of the best performers in the business.
