5. WrestleMania 2000: Winning First Tag Team Championship
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frZoW42rN4A The aforementioned tag team ladder match against the Hardys lead the way for a triangle ladder match at WrestleMania 2000, which saw Edge & Christian take on the Dudley Boyz and the Hardy Boyz. The Dudley Boyz were the defending champions and the Hardy Boyz were former champions themselves, but Edge & Christian had been unsuccessful in all previous challenges for the gold. But this was the night they broke the proverbial glass ceiling as a tag team, winning the ladder match and captured the championships for the first time. The team turned heel in the process, becoming cocky on the back of their success and before matches would even pose for 5 seconds 'for the benefit of those with flash photography.' But it marked the start of a dominating 12 month period for the team in which they would win the titles on seven occasions. The triangle ladder match returned at Summerslam 2000, this time dubbed 'Tables, Ladders and Chairs' (TLC), which Edge & Christian also beat the Dudleys and Hardys, and repeated that exact same feat at the WrestleMania X-Seven in April 2001, in TLC II. The team's final reign as champions was ended by the Undertaker and Kane on the April 19, 2001 edition of Smackdown.
