WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. The New Day Hold Onto The Raw Tag-Team Gold

The added touches of comedy into The Club's act haven't been welcome. It was one thing to have Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson join AJ Styles in revelling about 'beating up John Cena', but that entire episode featuring 'The Old Day' was almost painful to watch. Gallows and Anderson are much more effective when portrayed as a physical threat.

It's unclear which combination The New Day will use to defend the Raw Tag-Team Titles at Clash Of Champions. Using the old 'Freebird Rule', they are free to use any members. Whichever duo does enter the ring, it stands to reason that New Day will leave with their lengthy title reign in tact.

There's little to suggest that The Club will bag the gold, New Day's title tenure deserves something grand. In other words, whenever WWE do book the trio to drop the championships, it has to be epic. Unfortunately for Gallows and Anderson here, there's a throwaway feel to their latest challenge.

A New Day win seems the most likely outcome, allowing the babyfaces to march onto their next big defence.
