WWE Clash Of Champions 2017: 8 Things WWE Got Right
5. The Bludgeon Brothers Destroying Breezango
Harper and Rowan dismantled Fandango and Tyler Breeze in just shy of 2 minutes at Clash Of Champions. Good, because any longer and fans in the stands may have found themselves visiting the nearest restroom or checking out the merch stalls. This squash was exactly what it needed to be.
Every other match on the main show card went longer than 10 minutes. Although Tom Phillips, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton didn't make enough of that fact when talking up how powerful The Bludgeon Brothers looked in just 2, the match itself told its own story. That wouldn't have been the case had Breezango shown some babyface fire.
An often-comedic team like Fandango and Breeze won't be harmed by this obliteration. The goal here was making Harper and Rowan look like Braun Strowman circa 2016, and it worked. Now, WWE have ideal challengers for The Usos to work with and a Fashion Files angle that was running out of steam has concluded.
