FIVE contenders in line for shot at Bayley on the 'Grandest Stage'

WWE are reportedly considering booking a six-pack challenge for Bayley's SmackDown Women's Championship, according to TalkSport's Alex McCarthy.

Tweeting that a source had confirmed that current plans were set to feature Champion Bayley, Sasha Banks, Naomi, Lacey Evans and Carmella (plus one other performer), the news broke following some comical patter from Banks and Bayley about their free time this weekend.

Neither woman was booked for Elimination Chamber despite Banks' recent return to television and Bayley's recent feuds with both Naomi and Evans carrying over into a pair of blue brand tag matches of late.

A multi-woman match may not be given the most profile or spotlight on the 'Show Of Shows' either, but the company haven't been particularly proactive in teeing up a believable challenger for the strap since Bayley regained it in October.

Outside of the week between that and her loss to Charlotte Flair, she's kept possession of the blue belt since April's Money In The Bank. Banks' August return triggered her heel switch but the pair haven't remotely teased dissention outside of a few lost lingering looks towards the title from 'The Boss' that haven't yet been acknowledged.
