WWE Crown Jewel 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True
6. Jey Uso Accidentally Costs Cody Rhodes
Jey Uso was chatting about how much he'd like to win the Undisputed Tag Titles with Cody Rhodes again on Raw. That experiment is almost certainly over, but Uso and Rhodes can remain friends on TV heading through Survivor Series. They might be frosty friends if this does down mind.
Nobody needs to see Cody looking all sad and dejected again for a while. His loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 was a little too much for some fans, and they still haven't forgiven Triple H for refusing to upset The Bloodline narrative by having Roman take a loss.
Those people will be seething if Rhodes gets all teary-eyed again at Crown Jewel.
It's possible. Jey might well try to offset Judgment Day interference by interfering himself, but that'd end badly if Uso accidentally hampered Cody's chances and inadvertently handed the win to Money In The Bank holder Damian Priest.
Cue tension, and cue Rhodes having to forgive then forget if he can.
