WWE Crown Jewel 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

3. Team Raw Vs. Team SmackDown Is Confirmed

A quick glance at social media reveals some are for this and others against it. No prizes for guessing where this fella lands considering he's plopped it out onto a list about the worst that could happen on Crown Jewel. "Brand warfare" is an archaic concept, and frankly needs to beat it for good.

On the whole, fans don't really care about who has the superior show. Most watch both anyway, and it's hardly enticing to see Raw vs. SmackDown when there's nothing actually at stake other than bragging rights. Sadly, Nick Aldis turning up to become blue brand GM (as well as recent segments opposite Adam Pearce) suggest WWE disagrees.

Another face-to-face on Saturday could lead to more brand stuff, but hopefully not. Survivor Series would be strangled if it becomes another procession of meaningless 'Us vs. Them' fare that's hastily forgotten about as soon as clocks strike midnight post-PLE.

Sorry, WWE. Raw vs. SmackDown is old hat.
