WWE Draft 2016: 5 Things That Will Happen (And 5 That Won't)

7. Bayley & Finn Bálor WILL Be Drafted

Finn Bálor’s main roster call-up has been brewing for months. Ever since Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows (his former Bullet Club buddies from Japan) appeared on the scene with AJ Styles, rumours have been rife of Bálor’s imminent appearance on Raw or SmackDown, but it hasn’t materialised yet.

Now is the perfect time to pull the trigger. Bálor’s NXT match with Shinsuke Nakamura has effectively concluded his developmental business and called time on a highly-successful run at Full Sail University. He’s an incredibly polished and refined all-round wrestler with the skills and charisma to make an immediate impact, and there’s absolutely nothing left for him to do in Orlando after his record-breaking title run.

Bayley is in the exact same position. It was vital that she stayed back in NXT when her friends Becky, Sasha, and Charlotte were called-up. Her departure would’ve left the brand’s celebrated women’s division woefully understocked, but Asuka has since succeeded her as the division’s alpha female, and the likes of Alexa Bliss look more than ready to take her place.

There’s no sense in Bayley hanging around Full Sail much longer. She has nothing left to prove in the NXT women’s division, and her arrival will do wonders to freshen-up the WWE Women’s Title scene.
