WWE Draft 2016: 5 Things That Will Happen (And 5 That Won't)

The Undertaker is the heart and soul of WWE. Nobody on the current roster can hold a candle to what he's done for the company since his 1990 debut, and it's not even close. In the current WWE hierarchy, The Undertaker stands alone as a unique attraction whose importance to the company cannot be measured by title reigns and accolades.

The Undertaker brings a huge spike in interest every time he appears, but he won't be drafted on Tuesday night. As important as he is, 'Taker has been working a limited schedule for years. His appearances come once in a blue moon, and he's not going to commit his ageing body to an increased set of dates just for the sake of filling a draft slot.

There's no sense in forsaking a wrestler like Seth Rollins or Dean Ambrose, who'll appear every week, for The Undertaker, despite his undeniable legacy. Undertaker's calendar will remain as is: one or two matches against big name opposition at the biggest PPVs of the year, sprinkled with a few TV appearances here and there. He doesn't need to be pinned down to a specific brand to justify his annual WrestleMania match, so why bother?

Besides, Undertaker has earned the right to pick and choose. He is the greatest WWE superstar of all-time, and should he return, his destiny should be in his own hands.

The Undertaker's name features on WWE's fantasy draft page, but that's just a red herring. Don't expect The Deadman to feature on Tuesday.
