WWE Dublin Live Review - 10 Interesting Observations You Need To Know
2. Finn Bálor Is THE Future
Theres never been any question that Finn Bálor would be destined for success in the WWE, winning the NXT Championship within the first year of debuting, and catching the eyes of just about everyone who saw him, whether youve followed Fergal Devitt before his debut in the company or know him only as the demon, Finn Bálor. On this occasion, Finn proved once and for all that if anyone can compete in a high stakes match, its him, facing off against Sheamus in one of the best matches that Dublin has seen live from WWE. The fact that the two men were from Ireland and have gone through such tough, yet so very different, journeys on their way to the WWE made this match extremely emotionally driven, with Sheamus doing his best to stay in the heel persona, and Finn attempting to counteract the size difference through his use of speed and innovation. Having been set up in April and only confirmed recently, the match received a tonne of hype on social media, and it was worth every single tweet. Sheamus kicked out of a double foot stomp to the head, Bálor kicked out after a brogue and the NXT Champion pinned Mr. Money in the Bank with a sunset flip for the victory. A post-match handshake would be a great nod of respect from the heel Sheamus, who performed extraordinarily as usual. Bálor looks primed and ready to take over on the main roster whenever the opportunity presents itself. Hopefully we dont have to wait too long!
