WWE Dublin Live Review - 10 Interesting Observations You Need To Know

6. People Love A Panderer

Surprisingly enough, British comedian Rob Beckett was brought out to be the special guest timekeeper for the following match, and I€™m not sure if many of the fans knew who he was. Honestly, if he hadn€™t appeared on Jonathan Ross€™ talk show recently, I don€™t think I would have recognised him, but either way, he was met with a chorus of boos immediately. The thing I loved about it though, aside from Beckett nearly falling when he tried to climb to the second rope, was how almost everybody in the crowd was booing the man until he whipped out an Irish flag and started waving it around. Then, of course, the tide turned and the people started cheering. It just goes to show how patriotic people can be. Beckett told a few jokes, but I think a lot of people were transfixed about how he looks like a much less tough version of Jack Swagger. The guy seems to be a big fan of the industry and he didn€™t take away from the show, in fact I thought it was a nice surprise that didn€™t need to take place, so there€™s no need to complain.
