WWE Elimination Chamber 2025: 7 Things That Must Happen

Cody Rhodes answers The Rock, surprise Chamber winners and...a big WWE return?

There were some confused glances around the place when The Rock asked Cody Rhodes to be his champion on last Friday's episode of SmackDown in New Orleans. That request came hot on the heels of Rock announcing WrestleMania 42 for the city, but it's 'Mania 41 that attention will soon turn to. First up, WWE's final main roster PLE/PPV stop before reaching April's action packed weekend.

Less than a handful of matches have been announced for Toronto. However, Cody will be in the building to give the 'Final Boss' his answer, and both the WWE Title and Women's World Championship bouts will be thrashed out for 'Mania. In addition, old pals turned enemies turned pals turned enemies (etc) Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn wage war in an "Unsanctioned" battle.

Triple H might have a sneaky comeback waiting for you once that's settled. Nothing's definite, but he might.

Rhodes telling Rocky whether or not he wants to be his corporate champ is just one of the questions that need answered on Saturday night in Canada. Exactly who meets Rhodes for the belt in Vegas is up in the air, and so is Rhea Ripley's challenger for the same double header supershow.

Can John Cena headline what's advertised as his last WrestleMania? Or, will CM Punk finally get that elusive main event? Logan Paul?! NXT upstart Roxanne Perez challenging Rhea? Nothing is off the table.

Here's absolutely everything that must happen at Chamber, including all the thrills and spills coming your way across both titular cage matches and The Rock's puzzling left turn.

7. Bianca Belair Wins The Women’s Chamber

Roxanne Perez, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Naomi and Bianca Belair. That's the field vying for a crack at Rhea Ripley's title come April. It can't be Liv, because WWE have just been there, done that during Raw's debut on Netflix. Roxanne is super-new to the main roster, so it probs won't be her either, and Alexa vs. Ripley doesn't feel right. Same with Bayley, 'cause she had her 'Mania moment last year.

That leaves now-former Women's Tag-Team Champs and matching outfit pals Naomi and Bianca Belair. Smart money would go on the latter unless Naomi is about to turn heel on everyone ahead of Jade Cargill's impending return. Nah, creative will surely wait for Jade to be back on TV before kicking that story into gear. The same goes for any Belair heel turn.

Bianca vs. Rhea sounds fun and like the best possible match coming out of Chamber, so let's go with that. Belair can then either look completely shocked that Naomi was behind Cargill's ambush all along (and thus struggle to refocus for the ever-dangerous Ripley), or be revealed as the mastermind herself. 'I did it for the GLOW'.

OK, maybe don't use that line.

Seriously though, Belair is still one of the best all-rounders WWE has on the female side. She's been biding her time working in the tag division for a long time now, so it's only fair that Bianca breaks back into singles stardom and works a total banger against someone like Ripley. That's alpha female vs. alpha female dream match stuff, and it needs to happen soon.
