WWE Elimination Chamber 2025: 7 Things That Must Happen

6. Kevin Owens Brutalises Sami Zayn

The human quality to chapter 8,203 of Kevin Owens warring with Sami Zayn has been class. On Raw, Sami revealed that he sat and had a heart to heart with Kev's mother. That's filled him with regret over what he knows he has to do in Toronto at Elimination Chamber: Cut KO down to size for his psychotic behaviour, and gain revenge for an unprovoked package piledriver that almost benched him like it did Randy Orton.

WWE's storytelling has been bang on throughout Kevin's heel run, because he believes he's in the right, but it's about to get even better. It's gonna be vital that he walks into Chamber with a lump in his throat. Same for Sami. Then, once their "Unsanctioned" brawl gets underway, the most violent side of KO imaginable should come to the fore. Like the twisted sort he is, Owens will also blame Zayn for "making this happen" and pushing him to this brink.

Raw GM Adam Pearce has already told everyone what's probably going to happen when making the match officially unofficial (ha). He won't be able to stop proceedings if Kev starts brutalising Sami. However, that's also true for the reverse, which is something Zayn was quick to point out when practically begging for the match to be slapped onto the Chamber card.

KO has to hit Sami with more than one piledriver, and each should land with a sickening thump. Zayn doesn't need this win as much as his real-life pal does, because Owens has something monumental waiting for him in Las Vegas at WrestleMania. Cue the familiar refrain everyone knows oh so well...
