Trish Stratus and Lita may have spent a fair chunk of their heyday squeezing into tight tops and pulling a thong as high as it would go, but they're female wrestling icons to a younger audience, including many who wrestled alongside them at Evolution. They, during an era that barely encouraged it, were able to break down some barriers.

It was great to see that recognised and even better to see both come through the curtain first.

Nobody was expecting a brilliant match from this, especially when Alexa Bliss was forced to pull out and leave it firmly in the exhibition category. As much as Alicia Fox tried, she wasn't a straight up replacement for Bliss' star power, and yet the match didn't really suffer. It was what it needed to be.

Seeing Mickie James tangle with old foes again was the main meat of the match, and fans popped big style for Trish and Lita running through some of their old routines. That's all the opener needed; it was a wonderful trip down memory lane.
