As entertaining at The Vaudevillains are, it just doesn't feel like they're in management's plans to win the WWE Tag-Team Titles right now. Who knows what could have happened had Enzo Amore not been injured at Payback, Enzo & Big Cass could be lining up against The New Day at Extreme Rules, or the match could have been a Triple Threat.

That could be in the pipeline when Amore makes his return, but fans would probably much rather see the loudmouth and his '7 Foot Tall' tag partner go up against New Day than The Vaudevillains. Even if there is motivation for a feud between both former NXT tandems, The New Day deserve more than to be pushed aside following their lengthy dominance of the division.

In many ways, The New Day vs. The Vaudevillains would be the ideal Kickoff match. It'd offer something fresh for that portion of the show, and WWE would also have an excuse not to write a title switch for the tag straps.

Right now at least, The New Day's reign must continue uninterrupted.
