Sitting at 273 Days as of Extreme Rules, The New Day's long-running tenure with the WWE Tag-Team Titles rolls on. Logically, The Vaudevillains never posed a serious threat to their reign at the pay-per-view, they were just there to provide a different kind of opponent for the always-entertaining trio.

Where Simon Gotch and Aiden English go from here is anyone's guess, they certainly don't have the kind of intimidation factor that a heel unit like Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson can boast. There's still a place for them on the main roster, but WWE will have to find them another rivalry quick to avoid the quirky duo losing steam.

As for The New Day, it'll be interesting to see what their next big challenge is heading into Money In The Bank, Battleground and - ultimately - SummerSlam. By the time that latter show comes, they will have been champions for a full year, something incredible in the modern era.

It wasn't really in doubt that they would leave Extreme Rules still as champions, but the real challenge is lining up something else meaningful.
