File this one under the 'This Is On PPV?!' tab too.

Alas, it is what it is. WWE randomly decided that Liv Morgan should get a supershow singles outing after months, if not years, of being totally overlooked and pushed to the back of the queue. Maybe this writer should stop being a salty d*ck and be happy about that, but...we'll see.

Regardless of what happens afterwards, and whether or not SmackDown's crew actually pin Liv's name on the push board, it's true that Morgan should come out on top here. Carmella's Diva throwback gimmick is delusional enough that losses bounce off her, and Liv is the one most in need anyway.

A decent 10-minute match could heal some wounds for Morgan and start her on the right path towards actual relevancy in the writer's room. Fingers crossed WWE play down the catty arguments over who's most beautiful though. That's not the way to go with these women in 2021, and it won't do much for Liv long-term.
