6. Bad News Barrett Could Become Intercontinental Champion

There's a very good chance that WWE will put the intercontinental title on Bad News Barrett this weekend. Reports that Vince McMahon has became a huge fan of Bad News is reason to believe he will be elevated, as is the fact that many in WWE changed their perception of him after his hilarious spot at the WWE Hall Of Fame. This is no longer a filler gimmick, Bad News is now being booked as a key Raw character - as his win over Sheamus on Raw emphasised. The re-emergence of Bad News Barrett should culminate in a win over Big E at Extreme Rules. Big E has had a good run with the belt, but five months into this reign, he is no longer getting anything from the title. It's time to switch. WWE have really pushed Barrett's 'Bull hammer' elbow finisher over the last few weeks, a clobbering blow to Big E should see a new champion.
