1. Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan
Background: Daniel Bryan's third WWE Championship reign began at WrestleMania XXX, but it comes to a screeching halt at Survivor Series when he is defeated by a returning CM Punk - with help from Paul Heyman! Punk and Brock Lesnar form a duo that runs roughshod over WWE, but in the Elimination Chamber match, Punk is pinned by Roman Reigns. Thankfully for Heyman, though, Lesnar is in the match to pick up the pieces (and win the WWE Title). With Daniel Bryan as the 2015 Royal Rumble winner, the match is set!
The match: A match between WWE's most beloved underdog and it's greatest monster starts exactly how you'd expect, with Lesnar mauling Bryan from the opening bell. The referee considers stopping the bout, but Bryan hangs in there and deals out a bit of damage where he can. Brock still dominates, though, catching a kick attempt from Bryan and planting him with a Powerbomb, then standing up while in the Yes Lock and turning it into an F5 that sends Bryan out of the ring. Bryan fights back, though, giving Lesnar a taste of his own medicine by reversing an attempt at another F5 back into the Yes Lock. Lesnar doesn't tap, but "The Beast" is weakened; Bryan is able to nail him with three Running Knee Strikes, then score the pinfall in front of the screaming Santa Clara crowd. WrestleMania goes off the air with Bryan hoisting the title high. The world of wrestling is right again.
