WWE Fastlane 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen Tonight

2. Roman Reigns Pins Dean Ambrose

Over the past few weeks heading in to Fastlane, there's been more than a slight edge of competitive spirit between Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. That's a good thing, because it's much more interesting than the former Shield members electing to team up and beat down Brock Lesnar before deciding who is the better man. WWE have a few options for the show. On one hand, they could have Reigns pin Brock Lesnar after the big man is beaten down by The Wyatt Family. This makes him look strong, but would also result in boos. It could be argued that any Reigns win is destined to elicit jeers anyway, but pinning Lesnar would likely be the worst choice here. Alternatively, Roman could defeat his buddy, Ambrose. This opens up the chance going forward for either Ambrose to be accepting, or to be completely bitter. A heel Dean Ambrose may be an ideal opponent for Reigns post-WrestleMania, just in time for a rejuvenated Seth Rollins to come back in to the mix. At least the company have options, but it'd be intriguing to see Reigns pin his pal.
