WWE Fastlane 2016: 10 Things We Learned

8. WWE Are Biding Time On Sasha Banks And Becky Lynch Split

The easy route to take at Fastlane would have been to book Sasha Banks to nail Becky Lynch with a clothesline post-match. Together, the pair were victorious against Tamina and Naomi, but it's fairly obvious that they're about to be cast against one another. This is not a tag-team that's likely to last longer than a few more weeks. It was somewhat of a surprise to see WWE resist the idea of having them definitively split on the pay-per-view, the old arms raised in victory pose was simply begging for it to happen. Maybe it will actually be Lynch who turns, although she remains a popular babyface. There's much more to come from her if she stays on the 'good' side of the fence. Monday Night Raw will offer more answers, because it seems plausible that both these women will battle it out to determine a new top contender for Charlotte come WrestleMania sooner rather than later. Such a bout appears imminent, but it looks like WWE will continue to spin out the frosty relationship for now.
