WWE Fastlane 2017: 11 Things That Must Happen

7. The Women's Division Needs Cleaning Up

This RAW women's division is a mess.

When the Women's Revolution kicked into high gear at WrestleMania 32 there were high, high hopes for a female wrestling landscape with Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Bayley in the forefront - but the ascension of the trio to the top positions on the flagship show has exposed their inexperience and flaws to the widest audience. To call the division 'stale' already would be a understatement.

Nia Jax isn't ready for this spot either, and for all the physical attributes she possesses she isn't quite there - either in the ring or as a character - just yet. For all the world it seems as though Bayley vs. Sasha vs. Charlotte vs. Nia is the plan for WrestleMania 33, and if so, a couple of things need to be cleaned up at Fastlane.

Sasha takes on Nia at the show - and another clean loss for The Boss here would be catastrophic. What right would she have in the title match after two clean losses to Jax? On the other hand, a Jax loss can't be justified, so the only answer is to salvage whatever can be salvaged from this mess and have the Banks vs. Jax match end in a manner that protects both women.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
