9. Kofi Kingston Channels The Spirit Of Eddie Guerrero
The WWE Tag-Team Title clash between The New Day and The Dudley Boyz threatened to fall apart at one stage. Botching a move horribly, D-Von looked more than a little embarrassed. The 3 men inside the ring, including Bubba Ray and Kofi Kingston, awkwardly stumbled around briefly. Cheerfully, they were able to get things back on track. It's a good thing they did, because the rest of the match was well-received. By far the most popular and poignant moment of the bout came when Kingston feigned injury. Bringing the group's trademark trombone into the ring, Kofi hurled the instrument at Bubba before taking a dive. As the referee's back was turned, he was left to assume that Bubba had whacked his opponent with the noisemaker. Of course, that didn't happen, but the crowd lapped it up. This was a nice little nod towards Eddie Guerrero. The gone-but-not-forgotten Latino star was given another little tribute later, when Seth Rollins performed his patented Frogsplash. The crowd chanted, 'Eddie' repeatedly. Kingston's little piece of heel genius was well-placed in the match, and fits in with what The New Day are all about. It also keeps Xavier Woods, who wasn't at ringside, fresh in the minds of the fans.
