It was awesome to see Charlotte retain the WWE Divas Title at Hell In A Cell. Having held the belt just over a month, it would have been foolish to remove the strap from around her waist. The easy thing to do would have been for WWE to book a Nikki Bella victory, but that would have grossly hurt Charlotte's standing. As it stands, she's free to move on to a program against Paige. That seems the most likely scenario, which was why the Brit was playing happy families in celebration of Charlotte's victory. Surely, that won't last. As for the match itself, both Charlotte and Nikki pieced together a great showing. The stipulation banning any members of Team PCB or Team Bella from ringside could have felt tacked on, but it was worthwhile. Without distraction, Charlotte and Bella dutifully went about their business. There were no bells and whistles, which suited the match brilliantly. It's heartening to see the booking staff show faith in Charlotte, because she hasn't been booked as the most vocal champion as of yet. Hopefully, if a feud against Paige is on the horizon, that will come.
