7. Kevin Owens Retains Intercontinental Title
Similarly, the smart move was to have Kevin Owens defend his WWE Intercontinental Title at Hell In A Cell. Just like Charlotte, Owens has only held his prize since Night Of Champions. He's a talented talker, but also one hell of a worker when in there against the right opponent. Ryback hasn't proved to be the best of foes for 'KO', but the pair have still had some decent outings. At Hell In A Cell, they did so again, albeit without much fanfare. Hopefully, Owens can now move onto something a little grander. The Intercontinental Title threatened to be great under the reign of Daniel Bryan, but there are hopes Owens can be just as gratifying a champion. Only time will tell on that one, but he was permitted to pin Ryback cleanly on Pay-Per-View. The match at Night Of Champions finished with some heelish eye-raking from Owens, so it was cool to see him dispatch the 'Big Guy' more cleanly at Hell In A Cell. The next program is pivotal in determining whether or not Kevin Owens has a successful run as Intercontinental Champion. Choose wisely, WWE.
