WWE Hell In A Cell: 10 Things We Learned

3. Alberto Del Rio Returned To WWE

The return of one Alberto Del Rio was a shocking way to start Hell In A Cell. Introduced by Zeb Colter, the Mexican star seemed to have everyone inside the Staples Center genuinely baffled. This was one comeback a lot of people were not expecting to see happen. In fact, there were audible groans when Colter's music played, because most fans seemed to think it was to herald the arrival of Jack Swagger. Winning the WWE United States Title from John Cena, Del Rio returned with a bang. Where he goes from here is anyone's guess, but it seems likely he'll continue as a babyface for the moment. WWE surely have a big feud lined up for the man, but his return is big enough news for the moment. Raw will provide answers on his next opponent, unless a rematch with Cena beckons. Going just shy of 8 minutes, the US Title bout wasn't particularly lengthy. In truth, it didn't need to be. Had it dragged on too long, it may have ruined the quick fire surprise of Del Rio making a comeback and shockingly defeating Cena to bag the gold. Alberto Del Rio is back, and he already has a title over his shoulder.
