1. He's Got The Whole Universal Title In His Hands

There are two very compelling reasons to suggest Seth Rollins' second spell with the Universal Championship is coming to a sudden stop this Sunday. The first is embedded in booking logic, and not necessarily the one WWE will listen to: the way The Fiend has been built over the past few months - and the popularity the character has garnered as a consequence - simply can't be sacrificed at the first hurdle. And in particular, not at the altar of Seth freakin' Rollins.

Ordinarily, given the way the dim-as-a-dungeon company traditionally construct their monsters just to be vanquished by the babyface hope, this idiotic outcome wouldn't be unlikely. But reason number two is infinitely more compelling: for the past month, champ Rollins has consistently featured in Raw's lowest rated segments. That's a very worrying indictment of his drawing power, though could just as easily point to the cut-n-paste seen-it-all-before booking of the top title as a reason for tuning viewers out. We'll learn a little more once Bray has it in his hands.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
