WWE Hell In A Cell 2020: 10 Most Likely Outcomes
6. One Of The Cell Matches Will Have An Inconclusive Ending
Remember how we spoke about Hell In A Cell's patchy reputation? Yeah, well, in recent years it has taken an even greater nosedive because of the fact that its primary matches have ended in unsatisfactory inconclusive finishes (or, more specifically, non-finishes).
It's bad enough that Hell In A Cell doesn't end feuds like it once did, but it's far worse when it can't even provide the combatants with a decisive victor. And yet WWE failed to learn their lesson from Brock Lesnar's notorious interference in the Universal Championship match that led to a non-finish in 2018 because they had the referee stop the main event the following year for fear of a supernatural demon's safety. These finishes betray the concept and yet WWE keeps giving them to us.
While we could be in for a surprise this year (because you'd like to think the company listened to the rapturous boos and scathing reviews last year's debacle resulted in), the fact that there are three Hell In A Cell matches doesn't bode well for those of us (a.k.a. everybody) who likes decisive finishes. And thus, their attempt to keep each conclusion fresh could very well lead to a repeat of the same predictable formula of the previous two years.
