The Impact trio of Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel - collectively known as the Rascalz - are set to bid farewell to the company on next week's episode of the flagship show, following the expiration of their contracts.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the three turned down an extension, and have since sounded out interest from WWE. It is understood that any deal with Stamford will see the group alight in NXT. AEW are also said to have their eye on Miguel.

On the most recent episode of Impact, the Rascalz were 'evicted' from their tree house after receiving a letter saying they hadn't paid rent for two years. For whatever reason, this also means they have to leave Impact in storyline (it's probably best not to think about it too hard).

Their business will conclude next week with a (pre-taped) match pitting Miguel and Impact World Champion Rich Swann against Wentz & Xavier.

It was reported earlier this week by PWInsider that the exit has been entirely amicable, and that there is no bad blood between the parties.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
