WWE Japanese Tour Sells Out In Five Minutes
Fans snatch up tickets for Sumo Hall shows.

Japanese wrestling blogger Enuhito is reporting that tickets to WWE's shows in Tokyo's Sumo Hall sold out in approximately five minutes. Tickets went on sale Saturday for the two events, which will be held on July 1st and 2nd.
The shows are expected to feature most of the company's top talent, but in promotion for the events, WWE wisely focused on their employees who have connections to the Japanese fans. Shinsuke Nakamura was the top-billed star for the show, followed by former IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles and NXT Women's Champion Asuka. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and Chris Jericho are also being advertised.
This marks the second consecutive summer WWE has run a pair of shows in Sumo Hall, with the second show of last year's pair being broadcast as a WWE Network special. That show, titled "Beast in the East," was built around the Japanese returns of former New Japan stars Brock Lesnar and Finn Balor. There is no word yet if either of this year's shows will air on the network.
No matches have been announced for either show yet, but a Twitter feud between Jericho and Nakamura has sparked rumors that the first meeting between the pair may headline one of the events.
