WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett has confirmed his return to the company as its new Senior Vice President, Live Events.

PWInsider reported last week that Jarrett had been brought back to WWE in a position that would see him "take over" the company's live events business. The former Intercontinental Champion has since unpacked this on his My World podcast, confirming his appointment.

Jeff says he is excited about the new gig, seemingly announcing that My World would be continuing even as he re-enters Vince McMahon's employ (h/t POST Wrestling):-

"You know, as you know me Conrad [Thompson], I’m a personal guy and I’ll leave it personal for that matter. It’s, you know — and kind of what’s been stated out there, SVP, Live Events. You know as well as anybody, my passion is in live events but I’ll just kind of leave that right there. It’s gonna be a journey that I’m excited about but you know, as it all comes together, you know what this means don’t you? Well, I am so ready for year two [of My World]! Let’s rock Conrad."

WhatCulture exclusively reported in July 2021 that Jarrett had been let go by WWE towards the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to this, Jeff was working as a backstage producer for the promotion.

Jarrett wrestled for Game Changer Wrestling on 23 January, defeating promotional staple Effy at The Wrld On GCW in New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom.
