The New Day have held the WWE Tag-Team Titles since SummerSlam 2015, and deservedly so. Up until the arrivals of Enzo Amore and Big Cass on the main roster, there wasn't a team with as much charisma or a greater connection with the audience. Even after almost a year as champs, New Day still don't feel played out.

Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are in the hot seat for a reason, they're one of the most over acts in WWE at the moment. That has been the case for the longest time, so it'd feel a little pointless to have them drop the belts in a throwaway Fatal-4-Way encounter.

Whenever New Day do lose the tag titles, it must be completely memorable. Perhaps SummerSlam is the perfect destination for that, but Money In The Bank certainly isn't. There's no need for the reigning champs to shed the championships right now.

They shouldn't pin The Club, and perhaps the same could be said for Enzo and Cass. Therefore, having New Day escape by the skin of their teeth by beating The Vaudevillains may be best.
