WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Things We Learned

1. A Shield Triple Threat Is Surely Incoming

At the start of the night, Roman Reigns was booed for daring to be WWE's chosen champion. Mere hours later, he was dejected and beaten by a triumphant Seth Rollins. A short while after that, it was Dean Ambrose who was the one celebrating, climbing atop the announce table to mark the beginning of his own stint as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

All of those men have something in common, something glaringly obvious to anyone who has watched WWE programming over the past 4 years. Together as The Shield, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns were one of the best factions to come along in a generation. Now, they're surely poised to be at loggerheads in a Triple Threat Match.

The story may be an obvious one, but that certainly doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. In many ways, such a bout has SummerSlam main event written all over it. This of course means WWE will have to come up with a suitable scenario for Battleground, but that could easily be a Rollins vs. Reigns rematch to establish a new contender.
