Anyone who watches SmackDown weekly will know how welcome Edge's return has been since he gate-crashed Roman Reigns' promo on the 25 June edition. His poise on the mic, ability to dance between likeable babyface and dastardly heel-ish maniac, and all-round star power makes him must-see.

There was always going to be money in a straight one-on-one clash between he and Reigns. The key there is "one-on-one" - WWE don't need Jimmy and Jey Uso sniffing around ringside interfering on their 'Tribal Chief's' behalf. So, long story short, Edge is gonna have to take both brothers out at MITB.

A pair of backstage attacks should do the trick.

Paul Heyman can frantically explain the situation to an increasingly-worried Reigns once the terror begins. He can note that Edge has injured The Usos throughout the night, thus interrupting Roman's usual match preparations.

Then, come bell time, a crazed Edge can mimic Goldberg by telling Roman face-to-face that's he's next.
