WWE Money In The Bank 2025: 7 Nightmares That Could Come True
6. R-Truth Chants Blight The Night
It's understandable if fans want to let their voices be heard. People can chant whatever they like, let's be real about it, and no amount of whinging from any wrestling writer can change that. So, plough ahead - Truth will appreciate the support, but please also remember one other thing: That WWE roster will be taking very real risks at Money In The Bank, and they don't deserve to be trolled.
Yes, anyone chanting "WE WANT TRUTH" like they did on this past Monday's Raw or the latest episode of NXT TV would be trolling the actual company itself and not the talent, but...something just feels a bit rubbish about the thought of it anyway. Hardworking wrestlers putting their bodies on the line shouldn't have to see their thrills and spills get squashed just because folks in the stands feel like rebelling against Triple H’s decision, do they?
Chants for Truth have quickly become 2025's version of those old "CM Punk! CM Punk! CM Punk!" yells that plagued various WWE shows after his departure in 2014 and right up until he returned to pro wrestling with AEW in 2021. Those died out after that, and now Punk is right back in the thick of things as part of the weekly WWE product.
Maybe we'll be able to say the same about R-Truth and Carlito someday. Both would be valid inductees into the WWE Hall Of Fame at some point, and they'd smash some kind of ambassador role off screen too. So yeah, support Truth, but glossing over others to do that isn't really fair.
No, no put those pitchforks away please!
