5. The Wyatt Sicks Wreck Women’s MITB
Uncle Howdy and his crack team of Bray Wyatt-honouring misfits are back in action as part of the SmackDown scene, and they still have unfinished business with one Alexa Bliss. WWE reportedly had something in the works for that gathering during 'Mania season, but then the writers ultimately decided not to push forward with the story. That'll have those chuffed they didn't gnashing their fingernails heading into Money In The Bank then.
Whilst true there's still a story to be told between The Sicks and Alexa, the group's fingerprints really don’t need to be all over this ladder match. There are too many moving parts as it is for Unc and pals to poke their creepy wee noses in just for the sake of it. Leave any kind of union/rivalry they'll have with/against Bliss for regular TV, please.
Being honest, it kinda feels like the ship has sailed on the Alexa stuff too. At least somewhat, but there must be a reason why 'Little Miss Bliss' is still clinging to the character she played when hanging around Bray's 'Fiend' alter ego years ago. If she isn't going to interact with The Wyatts at all, then Alexa would surely return to a more standard guise for this run.
Personally, this fan doesn't want to see her win MITB with the aid of The Sicks. That spot should go to someone like Naomi. Impressive newcomer Stephanie Vaquer or another established modern era star like Rhea Ripley would be other picks for the nod, but Howdy and gang would hog the spotlight and be a little too James Ellsworth with Carmella for 2025's women's ladder match.
