WWE Money In The Bank 2025: 7 Nightmares That Could Come True

3. Solo Sikoa Win’s Men’s MITB

Look, this isn’t meant as a dig at Solo Sikoa necessarily, but he’s ice cold as a character these days. The former New Bloodline leader who was a pretender to the 'Tribal Chief' throne held by Roman Reigns does have a big match or two coming vs. Jacob Fatu soon, but that’s United States Title level. There’s no desire from fans to see him in the main event picture any time in the near future.

He genuinely would be the worst possible pick of the realistic male winners in the men's ladder match. Andrade would be a close second, because it hasn't really felt like WWE is building up to anything with him on TV. His comeback from AEW was more about slotting into decent matches and plugging holes rather than being the main focal point, and that's just the way it is.

So, why would WWE even entertain putting the briefcase gimmick on Sikoa in June 2025? Perhaps someone on the creative team believes he's a long-term World Champion or foe for brother Jey Uso. Or, more likely than that, they'd waste the Money In The Bank premise on a US Title cash in so he can re-assert some sort of dominance over Jacob.

Helping Solo win would give JC Mateo something to do on a PLE too, but no. No thanks. Seth Rollins might be an obvious choice, but he'd be the best one available on Saturday night. He, Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed are set to rule the school on Monday night flagships over the summer, it seems. They're practically destined to.

Sikoa winning would be a surprise, albeit an unwanted one.
