WWE Night Of Champions 2015 - 5 Likeliest Outcomes For Seth Rollins
2. The Sheamus Factor
If all options for who might leave Night of Champions are going to be explored, then Sheamus needs to be addressed. He's the current Money In The Bank Briefcase holder, so that adds a ton of new dimensions to this debate. I'll try to keep it simple and only discuss the outcome of a MITB cash-in that I think makes the most sense. No US Championship talk in this one.
Sheamus is a heel, so if he cashes in, he should spoil a babyface Sting victory. That would mean that Sting won the match and had an incredibly short title reign, but just having the title of "Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion" is all he needs. Sting doesn't need to have a storied title run because his career is already legendary.
This could then kick-start the Triple H vs. Seth Rollins feud. Rollins' loss would lead to Hunter saying that Seth is no longer "the man" and picking Sheamus as the new company guy. Considering how Sting's promo on the most recent Raw was all about how Seth is no Triple H, it feels like this is all just to plant seeds for that eventual feud anyway.
Kick Rollins out of The Authority, give Sting a (short) title reign, and start building to whenever Triple H and Rollins have a match against each other.
