WWE Night Of Champions 2026: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True

1. Which Damages Oba Femi’s Aura

The number one problem with Jey Uso winning King Of The Ring (even with some interference from Brock) is that it'd chip away at Oba Femi's act. He's a domination-fuelled powerhouse with the fanbase in his corner, and it's important that WWE management don't lose sight of that. Yes, everyone has to lose eventually, but there's a huge difference between succumbing to Brock after multiple F5s and staring at the lights for Jey this weekend.

That isn't meant as a knock at Uso either, by the way - it's just the way it is.

Oba simply shouldn't be losing too many matches until he's cemented as a firm headliner atop cards. Being real, there's way more juice in Femi coming for Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes with that sole defeat to a ticked off Lesnar on his resume than commentators saying: 'Oh, and he also lost that KOTR final to Jey Uso'.

Aura is everything to Oba as he marches towards a crucial period in his development. The dude's kicking off international episodes of Raw with a bang and playing before some of the mightiest reactions on the roster. Maintain that, don't knowingly damage it. He was born to be WWE King Of The Ring, and Femi feels more main event as 'King' than Jey would.

Simple as that.
