WWE No Mercy 2017: 10 Things WWE Got Right

1. Not Putting The Belt On Braun Too Soon

Fans have taken to Braun Strowman, but he's not ready to become Universal Champion and succeed with the belt long term just yet. Time is on Braun and WWE's side here, because he has the potential to become a headliner for years to come if the company show some patience. They did at No Mercy.

There's now money in a 'No Disqualification' rematch between Strowman and Lesnar that can be used on a major show like Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. It can't have been a coincidence that WWE didn't book a stipulation bout between these monstrous men just yet. Perhaps this is WWE doing what they are often criticised of not doing and showing restraint.

Strowman's first one-on-one match for a World Title on pay-per-view has now passed. Whilst it wasn't perfect and the finish did come out of nowhere, a few ass-kickings on Raw and more domination weekly from Braun will soon help fans forget he lost to Lesnar.

There's no shame in that either. It was Brock Lesnar after all.
